According to the Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications ( MIC ) Circular No. 07/2016 dated March 17th 2016, All lithium battery, which stand alone or install in host products (such as notebook, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) will be subject to Declaration of Conformity under local standard of QCVN 101:2006/BTTTT.

UL Solution: UL Taiwan GMA is developing the service for this new requirement.

Brazil, Anatel had started requesting IPV6 test for device designed with 3G/4G (LTE) cellphone technology and supporting IPv6 communication protocol.

The IPv6 tests are divided in two parts:

  • Part 1: 3GPP tests (3GPP TS 36523-1).
  • Part 2: RFC tests (RFCs 2460, 4861 and 4862).

Applicability:

  • 3GPP test would be applicable for 4G (LTE) and valid from Jan. 1st, 2016.
  • RFC test would be applicable for 3G/4G (LTE) and valid from Aug. 1st, 2016.

New application and renew application should be reviewed and managed according to his applicability

Ecuador- ARCOTEL announced Resolution 03-02-ARCOTEL-2016 which has revised certain bands in his National Frequency Plan. Now, bands 24.05-24.25 and 57-64 GHz are available for broadband digital modulation systems. That means product designed with 802.11ad (60 GHz) could be allowed and sold in market.

UL Solution: UL Taiwan GMA has been ready to offer service according to this change.
