All goods shipped to Saudi Arabia must be accompanied by a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) issued by a SASO authorized certification body (UL is an authorized certification body). (Exceptions: military, medical and food products).

An original CoC must be issued for EACH shipment of products under one invoice which enters Saudi Arabia.

The CoC is issued to either the manufacturer or exporter. The CoC is issued after compliance is validated after product testing and issuance of the applicable test reports.

i.e. UL Informative Test Report or CB Test Report (CBTR) & Certificate (CBTC), and a pre-shipment verification of the shipment.
